Novo Sustainability Statement 2022
Novo is committed to developing genuine and long-lasting relationships with stakeholders in the areas we operate. This includes the local community, relevant landholders, residents and Traditional Owners who hold an interest in the land on which we undertake exploration and development activities.
As an experienced exploration and development company operating across multiple jurisdictions within Australia, we ensure compliance with state and territory guidelines designed to minimise operational impacts on the environment while supporting long term sustainability initiatives of the environment and communities. The industry regulators are responsible for ensuring that Novo meets all its environmental commitments and conditions.
Novo also seeks to utilise local and regional service suppliers consistent with sound commercial practice, as well as giving preference to local employment consistent with the skills, safety and occupational health standards set by the Company.
